For a small fee, market stall holders can list on the Find It Locally network any time, all year round. Every dollar goes towards running the Find It Locally community noticeboards that keep the Shoalhaven connected.
The Shoalhaven sits on the traditional lands of the Yuin Nation. For tens of thousands of years, Aboriginal people have been the custodians of this extraordinary landscape β from the rainforests of the escarpment to the crystal waters of Jervis Bay.
JKL Community acknowledges and pays respect to Elders past, present and emerging. We are committed to celebrating and sharing the rich cultural heritage that makes this region truly unique.
We walk gently on this land and honour the oldest continuous culture on Earth.

The Shoalhaven is home to some of the most biodiverse ecosystems in Australia. Our unique mix of coastal, bushland and freshwater habitats supports species found nowhere else on the planet.
These striking birds depend on native Casuarina forests. Protecting their habitat is protecting the Shoalhaven's soul.
Our iconic Banksia species are found nowhere else on Earth. They're the cornerstone of our local ecosystem.
The bold crimson Waratah is the spirit flower of the bush β resilient, beautiful and unmistakably ours.

From the whitest sands in the world to lush rainforest trails and riverside parks β here's a glimpse of the breathtaking places right on our doorstep. π

Every month we feature a short story about a local business or not-for-profit doing great things in the Shoalhaven β helping them get the exposure they deserve. π
Local BusinessBomaderry Native Nursery
On a quiet block in Bomaderry, a small team is quietly replanting the Shoalhaven β one indigenous seedling at a time. Bomaderry Native Nursery grows local-provenance plants for Landcare groups, bush-regeneration projects and backyard gardeners across the region, from coastal banksias to rainforest species. They also run free propagation workshops and partner with the local high school to give students hands-on horticulture experience. Every plant sold helps fund trees for community revegetation projects along the Shoalhaven River and Jervis Bay catchments. Drop in for a chat, grab a few natives for your patch, and help grow a greener Shoalhaven. π±
